Black Obsidian is a very powerful and creative stone. It’s like a ‘psychic vacuum cleaner’ that cleanses the auric field of disharmony and negative attachments and our own negative traits and feelings. It is a strong grounding stone. It increases self-control.  It forces facing up to one’s true self.  Releases imbalances and negative energies.  Black Obsidian is protective and provides support during change.  It repels negativity and disperses unloving thoughts.

This mala features 108 beads with small 925 solid silver beads in between each larger bead instead of the usual knots. It has also been knotted on every 9th bead to give extra strength to the necklace. I use a durable rayon-based cord for my necklaces, a Vegan alternative to silk that significantly enhances the longevity & durability of your mala.

I work with several small businesses & artisan suppliers in Asia and Europe to source the components of my pieces. I also package & ship my jewelry in the most environmentally respectful way possible.
Obviously, I need to get your items to you in perfect condition but I am also are aware of so much waste when it comes to packaging. My solution is to wrap your jewelry in recycled tissue paper and instead of a jewelry box or little bag that you will probably never use again, I send each piece in a lovely canvas cosmetics bag that I have designed especially for my Celtic Synergy jewelry. (Please see the last photo.)
I also realise that not everyone wants a lot of printed material with their purchase. I do give information in the listing description as to the healing properties of the gemstones. However sometimes it is nice to have it printed to refer to or to be able to include it when sending as a gift, so I offer an option in the drop-down menu for you to choose whether to have a card included with the details of the components and their benefits.

Please note that I do use vintage metal findings & components in some of my designs, so some natural tarnish, patina & wear is present that adds to their beautifully unique character. Natural fractures do occur within certain gemstones, and this is not indicative of damage but is a characteristic of natural (non-synthetic) and untreated stones. I do my best to represent these characteristics in my photos as accurately as possible.
I only make one piece at a time so the one you see in the photograph is the one you will get. This also means that once it is sold it can be a while before I remake it depending on what I have in stock or it may not be able to be remade as I buy my supplies in small quantities and sometimes cannot find them again. If it truly is unique and a 'one off' it will say so on the listing.
