Onyx gives strength and protection.  It promotes vigour, steadfastness and stamina.  Imparts self-confidence, helping you to be at ease in your surroundings.  Onyx banishes grief, enhances self-control and stimulates the power of wise decision-making.  It encourages happiness and good fortune. Black Onyx is a very grounding stone.

••HEMATITE••
Hematite grounds and protects. It strengthens our connection with the earth, making us feel safe and secure. It endows us with courage, strength, endurance and vitality. A "stone for the mind", Hematite stimulates concentration and focus, enhancing memory and original thought.
Hematite utilises the magnetic qualities of our yin-yang energies to balance the meridians within the body and to provide a stable equilibrium between the ethereal nervous system and the physical nervous system. It focuses energy and emotions for balance between the body, mind and spirit.
Dissolves negativity and prevents you from absorbing the negativity of others. Haematite is strong, supporting timidity, boosting self-esteem and survivability, enhancing willpower and reliability, and imparting confidence. It helps to overcome compulsions and addictions.

I work with several small businesses & artisan suppliers in Asia and Europe to source the components of my pieces. I also package & ship my jewelry in the most environmentally respectful way possible.
I also realise that not everyone wants a lot of printed material with their purchase. I do give information in the listing description as to the healing properties of the gemstones. However sometimes it is nice to have it printed to refer to or to be able to include it when sending as a gift, so I offer an option in the drop-down menu for you to choose whether to have a card included with the details of the components and their benefits.

All mala & jewelry creations are handcrafted in my southwest France studio. This is smoke-free & pet-free. Please note that I do use many vintage metal findings & components in my designs, so some natural tarnish, patina & wear is present that adds to their beautifully unique character. Natural fractures do occur within certain gemstones, and this is not indicative of damage but is a characteristic of natural (non-synthetic) stones. I do my best to represent these characteristics in my photos as accurately as possible.
I only make one piece at a time so the one you see in the photograph is the one you will get. This also means that once it is sold it can be a while before I remake it depending on what I have in stock or it may not be able to be remade as I buy my supplies in small quantities and sometimes cannot find them again. If it truly is unique and a 'one off' it will say so on the listing.
